Bright Futures Play Academy

Wolf Creek Public Schools offers early learning programming for children ages 3 and 4 years. Children must be 3 or 4 years old by December 31 of the upcoming school year in order to apply. All children are welcome as we have programs for children to learn together in an inclusive setting.

Is Bright Futures Play Academy the right fit for my child?

Wolf Creek Public Schools believes in providing young children with opportunities to learn through purposeful play.

In a Bright Futures Play Academy classroom, children are invited to play through their daily experiences. Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, the ability to regulate emotions, language, cognitive and physicals skills they will need later in life. Play is important to healthy brain develoment. Play helps your child make sense of the world around them. Your child's brain is wired to learn through play.

Are there additional supports?

The language-rich program of Bright Futures Play Academy, taught by certified classroom teachers and supported by experienced educational assistans, helps students develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.

Some children, based on identified needs, may be eligible for support and services provided by: Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Vision specialists, Behavior Consultants, etc. as required to supplement the classroom programming. For children with severe developmental delays, parental consent for these supports is required and will be obtained if it is determined that your child might benefit from these additional services.

If you have questions or concerns about your child's develoment prior to beginning school in the fall, and feel supports may be necessary, please reach out to your school's adminstrator.

About Our Program

Bentley School offers 3 hour half-day programs in the morning from early September to mid-June:

Monday/Wednesday: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday/Thursday: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

What does my child need for school?

Most of the materials that children will use while at school (e.g. crayons, glue, etc.) will be provided. However, there are a few things we ask that your child have:

Backpack: Your child will need a school sized backpack for transporting items such as snacks, crafts, and winter clothing items.
Indoors Shoes: Your child will require indoor shoes that will be kept at school. Shoes should have non-marking soles and velcro fastenings are preferred. Please ensure your child's name is marked on his or her shoes.
Extra Change of Clothes: Accidents happen. For that reason, please provide an extra change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwears, socks) that will be stored in a ziploc bag in your child's backpack. Please label the bag with your child's name on it.
Water Bottle.

Please ensure your child's name is clearly marked on all belongings as often times several children will have the same or similar article of clothing, water bottle, backpack, etc.

Program Fees

A One Time Enrollment Fee of $130 is required upon acceptance into the program. Fees may be subject to change for 2024-2025.

2 Half-Day Full Payment: $1,230
4 Half-Day Full Payment: $2,460

Two Payment Options:

PAID IN FULL - Between July - September 1 of the program year, families are encouraged to pay the full program amount.

50/50 PAYMENT PLAN - 50% of the program fees are paid September 1st and the remaining 50% is paid February 1st.
