ASET (Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta)

Time: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  at École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School.

Parent-student information night on technology careers, where you’ll learn about the latest trends, innovations and job opportunities. Meet industry professionals, ask questions and discover how you can shape the future.

This is a great opportunity for students (grades 7-12) and their parents to attend to explore the world of Engineering Technology and Skilled Trades. There will be booths setup with industry partners and postsecondary schools where students can ask questions and receive more information about different careers and what their futures could look like within those careers. Additionally, there will be some presented material by industry, ASET, and Wolf Creek Public Schools. This will include educational qualifications, educational programming, scholarship potential, and career opportunities.

Please also note that if there are students/parents wanting to attend but they can't make it this night, there is an additional night being held at École Secondaire Notre Dame High School in Red Deer from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, that people are welcome to attend.

Students Need

- Lunch - bagged lunch and water bottle for the way up to Edmonton
- Dinner - bagged dinner or money to purchase something from the food court 
- Swimming suit & towel
- Money for a locker ($8 for small locker, $12 for large locker)
