New student registration for Pre-K & Kindergarten to Gr. 12 opens January 6. If you currently have a student in Pre-K who is either Kindergarten age or returning to Pre-K, parents will receive an email with returning student registration instructions. Current, Kindergarten to Grade 11 students won’t receive returning student instructions until August 2025.
Pre-Kindergarten New Student Registration for 2025-2026
Returning Pre-Kindergarten students will receive an email with registration instructions.
New students must select the 2025-2026 NEW BFPA Registration Form
Children must be 3 or 4 years of age by December 31 of the upcoming school year in order to apply
Programs are designed for children to attend two days per week on a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Four days per week programming may be available following further consultation with families and is based on location and availability.
A copy of the original birth certificate and other legal documentation (custody orders, etc.) must accompany your registration. If you need to order your child's birth certificate, click on the link to Alberta Services.
Pre-Kindergarten students are not eligible for busing.
KindergartenNew Student Registration for 2025-2026
Students currently in Bright Futures who are of Kindergarten age will receive an email with registration instructions.
New students must select the 2025-2026 NEW K-12 Registration Form
Children must be 5 years of age by December 31 of the upcoming school year in order to apply
Programs are designed for children to attend two full days per week. Days offered will depend on the number of students registered. Please register by March 31 to help with program planning.
Kindergarten class placements are based on a number of factors including, number of kindergarten registrations received, date of registration, program day availability and student needs, not just on parent preference.

Rural Kindergarten students are eligible to apply for busing.
