Students spent the week engaging in learning activities dedicated to Truth and Reconciliation. Students wore Orange Shirts to honour the experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Residential Schools. One of the things students learned is that we have the responsibility to share our new knowledge with those around us. Students chose words or phrases that stuck out to them during the week and wrote them on an orange rock. We have placed the rocks outside the school in hopes to spark conversation in our community about Truth and Reconciliation. Click the link to watch the video.
