Travelling Brain School - Friday, March 17

The Travelling Brain School is hosted by the Central Alberta Brain Injury Society (CAMIS) and teaches children in Gr. 1 - 8 about the many functions of the brain and how to prevent brain injuries. The Brain School is an interactive walk through the brain learning about the various lobes of the brain, the nervous system, the brain stem, brain toxins and preventive measures to protect the brain. Each station will have hands on activities, visual displays and impactful discussions. The students will attend 5 stations, in groups of approximately 6, spending 4 minutes at each station. Students will become knowledgeable of their role in prevention of brain injury on a personal and community level. Thank you to our parent volunteers who are coming in to help many stations for us!
