Hats on for Mental Health - May 3

Mental Health Week

Mental Health Week is May 1 - 7.  The focus on mental health promotion continues throughout Mental Health Week. Mentally healthy students are resilient and better able to learn, achieve success and build healthy relationships.

This year, the Canadian Mental Health Association’s focus for Mental Health Week is “MY STORY”.  It is about shining a spotlight on supports, programs and communities while showcasing the importance of securing universal mental health care, what it can look like and how mental health care can be expressed and nurtured (ie. art, photos, music, sounds, dance, movement, nature, etc.) Visit CMHA Mental Health Week for more information and to download additional resources.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear a special hat to school on May 3, 2023 to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health!
