Bentley School will start the 2024-2025 with two staggered start times. Students will attend one full day of classes on their assigned day. This enables students time to get settled, introduce routines, get to know their teacher, put away their supplies, etc. Please refer to the staggered entry schedule:

Registration/Demographic Forms for Returning Students
Every family (new and returning) will receive an email in regards to a returning student profile update for the 2024-2025 school year. We require parents to follow the instructions on the email and submit the information asap. Once this online process is completed, the information is then updated into your child's demographic within PowerSchool. It is important that schools have correct and current phone numbers, contacts, addresses, etc. If you did not receive an email asking you to update your child's student profile, please check your spam/junk folder. The returning student registration information forms must be completed online by September 13, 2024. Parents are required to log into their PowerSchool Parent Portal, click on the School Engage tab and complete the online student demographic form. If you are having issues submitting the form or have any questions, please contact Bentley School at 403-748-3770. These forms are mandatory for parents to complete every year.
Kindergarten Information Packages
Kindergarten information packages have been emailed out to all parents. Due to lower than normal enrollment numbers, there is only one Kindergarten class on Tuesday & Thursday.You can also find the information on our website at: https://bentley.wolfcreek.ab.ca/parents/welcome-to-kindergarten. A meet the teacher night is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at 5 p.m.
Bright Futures Play Academy Information
BFPA information has been emailed out to all parents. Please ensure that fees are paid by September 1, 2024. A parent information session is schedule for Thursday, August 29 at 6:15 p.m.
Chromebooks:
Jr and Sr high students require a chromebook. We have very limited supply of chromebooks available for student use - only 5 in the high school and 15 in the junior high. Planning to volunteer next year? At Bentley School, we love our volunteers! We need help with track meets, picture days, popcorn days and in the classrooms. All prospective volunteers are subject to screening and possible interviews with school administrators. These forms will be kept on file at the school. All volunteers are required to complete: Volunteer Application Form - Must be completed yearly Criminal Record Declaration Form - Valid for 3 years Vulnerable Sector Check Application - Valid for 3 years and is only required if the volunteer will be:
Working Closely with children in situations where he/she will be alone with individual children and groups of children, without direct supervision and oversight from staff;
In a natural position of trust and authority given the relationship between children and school volunteers
