  • Shorts and skirts are required to be longer than the extended hand when arms are at the side.
  • Shirts that show midriff or cleavage are not allowed.
  • Shirts that are deemed inappropriate will be changed, covered or turned inside-out.
  •  Low hanging pants or shorts that expose a student's underwear are not allowed.
  • Hats are allowed to be worn in class if deemed appropriate.
  • Due to fire code regulations, all students and staff must wear shoes in the building at all times.
  • Muddy footwear will not be allowed. Students can bring indoor shoes for school use and keep them in their locker or make sure their footwear is clean prior to entering the school. Any student found tracking mud through the hallways will be required to remove the muddy footwear at the main entrance and will need to clean up the mud that was tracked through the school.
  • Students require appropriate footwear and clothing for gym class. No open toed shoes, sandals, socks or bare feet. Shorts and tops need to follow the dress code.

Electronic Usage Rules

  • Students are encouraged to bring personal chromebooks and or laptops to class as many teachers deliver assignments and exams electronically. If a student does not own a personal laptop/chromebook, there is a small selection of chromebooks at the high school office that can be signed out on a daily basis. All borrowed chromebooks must be signed in at the end of the school day. Any damage to a school chromebook will be the students responsibility to pay for.
